Hannah Caudle
Vocal specialist

For the past seven years Katy’s core work has been working within Further Education as the performing arts senior lecturer and course coordinator at the Isle of Wight College. In this role she was responsible for curriculum development, project management and challenging students’ ambition, skill set and work ethic. As a result of her work she was awarded an education award for 'unleashing potential'.
At 16 Katy was the All England Senior Tap Champion and performed a duet at the Royal Festival Hall in London with Adam Garcia as a result. From there she was successful in obtaining a full grant to study at Laine Theatre Arts on the three year Musical Theatre programme graduating with a Musical Theatre Professional Diploma, A'level Theatre Studies as well as ISTD Teaching Qualifications in Tap, Modern and National Dance. After a short period in London working in fashion she gained the role as 'Mary' in Andrew Lloyd Webbers 'Sunset Boulevard' at 18 years old. Following work for The Really Useful Group, she went on to perform as part of 'Spirit of the Dance' in an American Tour, was lead vocalist in 'Magic of the Dance' as well as a member of the Berlin Dizzy Tappers troupe, touring Europe. Other credits include; 'Vice Versa' (Players Theatre, London), VE Day Royal Gala (Coliseum), Royal Variety Show (London Palladium), Grace in the musical 'Annie' (USA), Michael Jackson Concert in Korea and the Munich Olympic Stadium (BBC) Bollywood Film Awards (BBC),  A number of Bollywood Films (filmed on location in India) and regular appearances on Channel 4's Big Breakfast working with designer Wayne Hemingway. Since moving to the Isle of Wight in 2004 Katy has worked on Arts Council funded projects, been a freelance choreographer and  project manager.
Julie has had an interest in Theatre and front of house management for many years. As a young child she loved the Theatre, a passion that no one else in her family could understand! At 17 she worked for the ‘Redgrave family’ and was involved in the booking of various artists for touring and resident shows. Artists such as Danny La Rue, Norman Wisdom, Lewis Collins (professionals), Wayne Sleep, Bobby Davro to name a few. She was promoted to front of house and bookings manager until the Theatre closed due to an arts council grant being withdrawn.
Julie changed directions in her career after meeting her husband, as the long days and late evenings were not conducive to married life. She moved back to the Isle of Wight and started a local business of Estate Agents which has been running on the Island for the past 25 years.

During that time Julie has always maintained her love of all things Theatre and was approached to open a local Theatre School on the Island by well know Creative Director Kevin Dowsett who was previously head of acting at Italia Conti. So, on the Isle of Wight Theatretrain was born and has been running under the helm of Julie for the past 18 years. Now fortunate enough to retire from her current estate agency business and pass the reigns over, she is absolutely delighted to be involved with Theatre Educational. Julie places high priority on quality education, safeguarding and pastoral care and is looking forward to using her business skills and love of theatre to develop TEd..
Hannah trained at one of London’s leading performing arts school’s, Bird College of Performing Arts, where she gained a degree in Musical Theatre. Hannah has since furthered her education to gain a BA (Hons) in Drama, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education. Hannah was a member of Theatretrain since the age of 11 and was luckily enough to be cast in many lead roles including two solo performances at the Royal Albert Hall and numerous solo performances at other West End theatres.
As well as London shows and local shows with Theatretrain, Hannah has also played leading roles in and out of Theatretrain such as Wendy in Peter Pan the British musical, Grace Farrell in Annie The Musical, Serena Katz in Fame, P.Burke in A Weird Romance, Sandy in Grease, Viv in Spend Spend Spend, Bride in Blood Wedding, Cléante in Tartuffe, Debs in Belongings,  Megan in Real Eyes and Marguerite in Red Noses. As well as performing in shows Hannah has completed grades with Associated Board of Royal School of Music, London College of Music and Trinity including, grade 1-8 singing, grades 5-8 Musical Theatre, grade 8 Speech and Drama, grade 8 Individual acting skills and grade 5 Music Theory.
Hannah is passionate about teaching and as well as teaching singing privately in London, Surrey and the Isle of Wight, Hannah loves passing on the many skills she has learnt throughout her various training onto the students at Theatretrain and loves watching them develop into great performers.
